A community project for local people to link gardens in Rudloe, Corsham and surrounding areas to create a wider habitat for hedgehogs.

The Leafy Lane Hedgehog Highway project encourages and coordinates local residents to remove barriers that prevent hedgehogs from travelling up to a mile every night in their quest to find food, shelter and a mate.

One of the main reasons hedgehogs are struggling in the UK is because our fences and walls reduce the amount of land available to them. We can give them a helping hand by creating holes or gaps for them to pass through.
